if you wondering what does Fiskal means
it's a Exit Tax which all Indonesians MUST pay when they are leaving from Jakarta. (should be)
unless you have reason such as studying at a foreign country or a permanent resident in a foreign country. then you can run away from it.
How much do we have to pay for Fiskal.
it's 1 000 000 Rupiah
which is equivalent to 125 SGD (1 SGD = 8000Rupiah)
So people like me, who trying to avoid paying the Fiskal, will take domestic flight to Batam and then take ferry back to SG.
UNFORTUNATELY, from next year onwards, 01/01/2009, all Indonesians MUST pay FISKAL when they leave INDONESIA. ( this means, at any parts of Indonesia, you have to pay Fiskal)
well, i heard from my dad ( he said that he read it from a newspaper) that we have to pay 3,000,000 Rupiah
which is equivalent to 375 SGD
we can avoid paying Fiskal if we pay income tax.
but, i'm just a 16 year old kid. where do i get a job? and how?
oh, one more thing, by year 2011, all indonesians do not need to pay Fiskal anymore.
haha. well. THIS IS INDONESIA.
